Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition wherein blooming by a softening oil and the migration and elution of the softening oil are ameliorated and which is suitable for constituting insulating layers of cables or appliance junction molded artifacts.SOLUTION: In an ethylene-propylene rubber composition including an ethylene-propylene rubber, a filler, a softening oil, an organic peroxide-type cross-linking agent, and an age resistor, a first age resistor including at least one selected from among hindered phenolic compounds and amine compounds whose functions can be induced at cross-linking temperatures is used as the age resistor within a ratio range of 0.25-1.50 pts.wt. with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the total sum of the ethylene-propylene rubber.
