PURPOSE: To provide a thermoplastic polymer film having good oxygen barrier properties and simultaneously good transparency and a beauty appearance with other desired optical properties under humidity conditions of a wide range.

CONSTITUTION: The polymer film comprises a central layer 10 of an ethylene vinyl copolymer, and two outer layers 16, 18 of ethylene propylene terpolymer in such a manner that the outer layer is preferably blended with a polypropylene. Further, a method for manufacturing a multilayer film comprises the steps of co-extruding an inner layer of an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer between the two outer layers containing the ethylene propylene butene terpolymer and the polypropylene to form a multilayer film, and stretching and orienting the multilayer film.
