To obtain an ethylenically unsaturated compound suitable for a photosensitive resin composition which has a high rubber elasticity, expresses a good flexibility, shows a good adhesion to various components and especially, is free from flocculation of the dispersion phase and has high workability and storage stability, a photosensitive resin composition containing this compound, a photosensitive resin printing original sheet or photosensitive resin printing plate which satisfies contradicting properties of an aqueous developability and a water resistance (especially ink resistance), shows a good relief reproducibility and has a good elasticity.
An ethylenically unsaturated compound has at least one ethylenically unsaturated bond within its molecule and has a number average molecular weight Mn of 500 or larger, a ratio Mw/Mn of the weight average molecular weight Mw to Mn of 2 or larger and a viscosity at 20°C of 2,000 mPa/s or larger. Furthermore, a photosensitive resin composition has a phase-separating structure comprising a continuous phase containing this ethylenically unsaturated compound and a fine particulate dispersed phase dispersed in the continuos phase.
