To provide an evacuation status output device which can output information that enables macroscopic understanding of the evacuation status of disaster victims in case of disaster, using information transmitted from a mobile carried by a user, and an evacuation status output method.
The evacuation status output device includes: a first population approximate value calculation part for calculating a population approximate value per sector based on the number of mobiles within each range obtained as range information for each sector and a predetermined calculation rule; a second population approximate value calculation part for calculating a population approximate value for each mesh region divided into sections based on a predetermined division rule, from the population approximate value per sector; and an evacuation ratio calculation part for calculating an evacuation ratio for each mesh region based on a population approximate value per predetermined region when a disaster occurs and a population approximate value in the predetermined region at a predetermined time; and an output part for outputting the evacuation ratio calculated by the evacuation ratio calculation part.
