To quantitatively evaluate the moldability of a coil at the coil end part of a stator coil by fitting a load sensor which measures a load at compression molding of the coil end part of the stator coil to a coil and molding device.
A stator core supporting stage 1 supports a stator core 2 in which a stator coil 3 is forcedly inserted. The coil end 4 of the stator coil 3 protrudes above the upper surface of the stator core 2 and the tip of a coil end molding device 13 contacts the coil end 4 from above. A load sensor fitting stage 10 is connected to a molding device support stage 14 on the upper side of the coil end molding device 13 through a liner bearing 12, and a load sensor 11 is fitted to the lower surface of the load sensor fitting stage 10.
