To inspect and evaluate compression cutting suitability in the thickness direction of a laminated sheet, without having to spend much time and cost.
A laminated sheet for a sticky product having a surface substrate and a release paper adhered to each other via an adhesive layer is placed on a pedestal. A blade is pushed against the laminated sheet from the surface substrate side. When the blade is further moved toward the pedestal from a point P1, where the blade edge has made contact with the surface substrate, a compressive load on the blade edge gradually increases. When the surface substrate fractures due to the compressive load of the blade edge and the blade edge enters into the adhesive layer, the compressive load is decreased. The compressive load on the blade edge reaches a peak value at the fracture point. The peak value is measured for various kinds of laminated sheets, and the compression fracture suitability of each laminated sheet is evaluated based on the peak value.
