Abstract:
To appropriately evaluate the degradation state of a connecting medium.SOLUTION: An evaluation device 40 evaluates the deterioration state of a connecting medium that connects a drive unit and a door body in a water gate opening/closing device. A time calculation section 41 of the evaluation device 40 calculates, for a predetermined portion in the connecting medium, based on position information relative to a water surface, the time located in at least one region of a near water surface region which is the vicinity above and below the water surface, an underwater region below the near water surface region, and an airborne region above the near water surface region, or the underwater region below the water surface and the airborne region above the water surface. A degradation state evaluation section 43 evaluates the degradation state of the connecting medium by obtaining an evaluation value dependent on the accumulated time located in the at least one region using the result calculated by the time calculation section 41 for the portion. This allows the degradation state of the connecting medium to be properly evaluated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
