Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of evaluating surely load characteristics due to a performance of a cathode active material.SOLUTION: In the case of acquiring a dQ/dV curve (vertical axis: dQ/dV and horizontal axis: V) determined by differentiation of an electric potential V as a battery voltage with a battery capacity Q in a positive electrode mixture constructed by a cathode active material for a secondary battery, the cathode active material for the secondary battery, evaluates that the cathode active material has an excellent load characteristics when two or more peaks at the dQ/dV curve exist in a charging process, an electric potential difference (width in a horizontal direction at the dQ/dV curve) between the lowest peak of the electric potential and the highest peak of the potential is a reference value a or more, the electric potential difference between each peaks (width in a horizontal direction at the dQ/dV curve) is a reference value b or more, and the electric potential of the peak in which the electric potential is the lowest (width in a horizontal direction at the dQ/dV curve) is a reference value c or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
