Abstract:

To provide the evaluation method of a direct fuel cell making polarization separation of an anode and a cathode possible without previously installing a reference electrode, and safe and economical.

In the evaluation method of the direct fuel cell in which hydrogen is supplied to the cathode of the direct fuel cell to form a hydrogen reversible electrode, and polarization and/or impedance of the anode is measured, hydrogen supply to the cathode is practically made to dead-end.
