Abstract:
To provide an evaluation method that can evaluate a reaction state in a reaction shaft, and a flash smelting furnace operation method.SOLUTION: An evaluation method includes: the step of sampling the falling matter in a reaction shaft that oxidatively burns copper concentrate including sulfides as it falls, at radially different sites of the reaction shaft in a direction crossing the falling direction; and the step of measuring the desulfurizing rate of the falling matter sampled at each site.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
