The evaluation method of the gas barrier properties of the plastic container includes an exchanging process (1) for exchanging the gas, which is dissolved in the plastic container by passing hydrogen or the like through the plastic container, with hydrogen or the like, a removing process (2) for removing hydrogen or the like, which is used for exchanging the gas in the plastic container, under an almost vacuum atmosphere and a measuring process (3) for measuring container permeability of the gas to be measured by a differential pressure method.
