To provide an objective evaluation method by which a testee wearing shoes is made to walk on a floor surface, the myoelectric potential of the legs during a walk or ground reaction while grounding a foot part is measured and the adaptation of shoes is evaluated on the basis of a physiological index and a dynamic index.

When muscle active mass is calculated from the myoelectric potential when the testee walks on the floor surface, the difference of burdens on muscles by the difference of the shoes or the like becomes clear. Also, from the ground reaction while grounding the foot part, the deviation of a load point moving track from the load point moving track during an original natural walk is judged. Further, from the peak value of vertical general ground reaction, the size of a grounding impact is estimated. On the basis of the comparison of measured values obtained by tests by two or more kinds of the shoes of different conditions, the adaptation of the shoes is objectively evaluated.
