Abstract:
To provide an evaluation system for objectively evaluating a subjective characteristic such as strike sensitivity and fatigability at the time of utilization on the basis of reflection of an actual use state of a fishing rod and motion of a fish.SOLUTION: An evaluation system comprises a winding unit for winding a fishing line 2 of a fishing rod 3 and a rod reception unit 10 for gripping the fishing rod 3. The winding unit simulates a tensile state of the fishing line 2 caused by motion of a fish and measures a load applied to the fishing line 2. The rod reception unit 10 comprises a rod gripping unit 11 for supporting the fishing rod 3 and a rotation type control unit 13. The rod reception unit simulates a use state of the fishing rod 3, measures a load applied to the fishing rod 3, and evaluates the fishing rod 3 on the basis of the load applied to the fishing line 2 and the load applied to the fishing rod 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
