To provide an evaporated fuel treatment device of an internal combustion engine capable of reducing size of a canister and providing a simpler opening/closing control of a blocking valve while oil is not feeded.
Adsorption materials 6A, 6B are filled into substantially all areas in a canister casing 5 of the canister 11 in a canister system exclusive for oil supply. HC concentration detection piping 7 is inserted between a tank port 51 and a purge port 52 formed in the canister casing 5 and an evaporated fuel concentration in a bypass area B through which the evaporated fuel flowing from the fuel tank into the canister 11 while the oil is not supplied flows is detected. In the case that this evaporated fuel concentration is high, a purging action is continued and a close state of the blocking valve is maintained. In the case that the evaporated fuel concentration is low, the blocking valve is temporarily opened and the evaporated fuel in the fuel tank is introduced into the canister 11. Thus, the introduced evaporated fuel flows only in the bypass area B.
