Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent particularly unstabilization of idling caused by a variation in an air-fuel ratio of an engine caused by processing vapor generated in a fuel tank.
CONSTITUTION: A tank internal pressure setting valve 1 has a valve body 301 to open and close a part between a vapor pressure chamber 31 leading to a fuel tank 2 and a staying chamber 10, and is opened and closed by a first diaphragm 31. The valve opening pressure (a tank internal pressure preset value) changes in two stages when a second diaphragm 32 supporting a first spring 34 moves vertically according to a pressure change in a control pressure space 35. (That is, at an engine stopping time when a throttle valve 23 arranged in an intake air pipe 22 of an engine is closed, at idling time and at speed reduction time, atmospheric pressure is introduced to the control pressure space 35 by a control port 24, and the second diaphragm 32 moves downward, and strengthens the first spring 34, and increases the valve opening pressure. To the contrary, at load operation time of the engine, intake air negative pressure is introduced, and the valve opening pressure is reduced.
