Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the title apparatus for evaporating and concentrating an aqueous solution which is to be a waste fluid such as a photographic processing waste fluid.
CONSTITUTION: A condenser 5 constituting a heat pump 4 is received in the heating chamber 2 provided in a concn. vessel 1 so as to make said chamber double and receiving a definite amount of a waste fluid and an evaporator 6 is received in a cooling chamber 3. The pressure reducing device interposed between the condenser 5 and a first evaporator is constituted of two parallel pressure reducing means 17,18 respectively having cooling medium solenoid valves 32,33 and different in resistance and the temps. at the outlet and inlet of the evaporator (second evaporator) 6 are detected to judge whether the evaporation of a cooling medium in the evaporator 6 is completed and the liquid compressing operation of a compressor 20 can be prevented by controlling the solenoid valves 32, 33.
