Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporative cooling device capable of improving cooling efficiency.SOLUTION: An evaporative cooling device includes: a storage tank 10 in which water is stored; a water absorbing member 30 formed into an endless shape; a drive mechanism 20 that circulates the water absorbing member 30 along a trajectory passing through the water stored in the storage tank 10; and a heat exchanger 40 arranged to contact the circulating water absorbing member 30 halfway along the trajectory. The water absorbing member 30 supplies the water to the heat exchanger 40, where the air (gas) is cooled using evaporation heat of the water.
