Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device for evaporated fuel, in which determination of leakage can be appropriately carried out in accordance with properties of the fuel.SOLUTION: The processing device for evaporated fuel includes: a fuel tank; a canister; a control valve 11, which is disposed in a vapor passage connecting the fuel tank with the canister and can open/close the vapor passage; a valve control means 2a controlling to open and close the control valve; a pressure sensor 16 detecting a tank inner pressure of the fuel tank; a leakage determining means 2c, which determines occurrence of leakage when changes in the tank inner pressure is within a prescribed range; an intake air temperature detecting means 22 detecting an intake air temperature as a tank inner temperature of the fuel tank; and a fuel property determining means 2b determining whether or not the fuel in the fuel tank is a highly volatile fuel on the basis of the tank inner pressure and the tank inner temperature. When the fuel is determined to be highly volatile, the leakage determining means 2c sets a prescribed range to be wider than in a case where the fuel is determined not to be highly volatile.
