Title:
EVAPORATIVE HEAT EXCHANGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59112190
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance heat transfer rate on the side of an evaporable fluid and contrive to reduce the size and weight and enhance the density of a heat exchanger, by a method wherein a plurality of fins provided with passing holes are provided on inside and outside surfaces of a heat-transmitting cylinder constituting a double cylinder in the inside of an outer cylinder, and outside fins are upwardly inclined.

CONSTITUTION: A high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant flows in through an inlet port 10 in the form of a low-pressure liquid, is evaporated by being sequentially heated by water when flowing through the passing holes 17 of the outside heat-transmitting fins 6, the evaporated refigerant flows upward, flows out through an outlet port 11 in the form of a gas, and is again sucked into a compressor. On the other hand, water flows in through an inlet port 8, is sequentially cooled by the refrigerant when passing through the passing holes 5 of the inside heat-transmitting fins 4, flows downward, and flows out through an outlet port 9. Since multiple fins 4, 6 are provided to obtain a large heat-transmitting area and the fluids are passed perpendicularly by providing the passing holes 5, 7, the outside diameter of the fins is reduce, and the size of the heat exchanger is reduced. Further, since the fins 6 are upwardly inclined relatively to the heat-transmitting cylinder 1, the liquid refrigerant 12 is collected on the cylinder 1 side to immerse the fin parts proximate to contact parts 6a, and heat can be efficiently absorbed from water.
