PURPOSE: To uniformly distribute refrigerant to refrigerant channels without decreasing cooling performance.
CONSTITUTION: An opening of an expansion valve 6 is regulated in response to refrigerant temperature and pressure at an outlet side of an evaporator 16 to regulate a refrigerant amount to be input. The evaporator 16 has an evaporation unit having a refrigerant channel communicating in parallel with input and output channels. The evaporator 16 also communicates with the input channel, has a channel 28 to be cooled and formed with a first throttle 30 at a downstream side and a cooling channel 32 connected to the output channel to glide the refrigerant to an outlet. Further, it has a heat exchanger 20 so formed as to heat exchange the channel 28 with the channel 32 to communicate an upstream side of the channel 28 with the downstream side of the first throttle 30, and has a bypass channel 38 formed with a switching valve 40.
