Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an evaporator for low temperature in which a drain water produced due to the condensation of steam in an air flows out without being accumulated and the area of a heat transfer part can be effectively used without freezing a drain water flow.
CONSTITUTION: An evaporator for low temperature is provided with heat transfer parts 5 for cooling an air flow between upper and lower partition walls 1 and 2 and heat transfer parts 6 for heating a drain water which are provided below the heat transfer parts 5 for cooling the air flow. Vertical fins 7a straddling both the heat transfer parts 6 are provided. The lower ends of the fins 7a are in contact with the lower partition wall 2.
