Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination table for both external examination and internal examination in the gynecological examination.
SOLUTION: The examination table consists of a hip-rest 2, a backrest 3 and leg-rests 4. The leg-rests 4 for mounting legs of a patient consist of a pair of leg-rest members 41 and 42 to be opened/closed. Each leg-rest member 41 or 42 consists of a first leg-rest part 5 on the hip-rest 2 side and a second leg-rest part 6 connected to the first leg-rest part 5 via a connection shaft 80. The second leg-rest part 6 comprises a flat part 61 and a sole receiving part 62 mounted on the back side of the flat part 61 with the head inclined in the direction of separating from the flat part 61. In the examination table, the flat part 61 can be located in the line extending from the mounting surface of the first leg-rest part 5, or the sole receiving part 62 can be inclined higher than the mounting surface of the first leg-rest part 5, by inverting the second leg-rest part 6 around the connection shaft 80.
