Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the loss time for changing an earth and sand bucket and greatly enhance the excavation working efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A wire 42 for lifting an earth and sand bucket is inserted to the inside from the outside of a caisson operation room 2 of a pneumatic caisson, and a earth and sand bucket holding device 43 is mounted to the lower end of the wire 42. A wire moving device 12 and a wire holding device 21 are provided in the caisson operation room 2 or the inside of a storing lock. The wire moving device 12 and wire holding device are so constituted that an empty earth and sand bucket 35 can be led to a position on plane coordinates suitable for filling earth and sand therein and that the earth and sand bucket holding device 43 can be led to an earth and sand bucket 36 for conveying the earth and sand bucket 36 filled with excavated earth and sand from the caisson operation room 2, and a monitoring device for monitoring a state of the earth and sand bucket in the caisson operation room 2 is provided.
