Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously excavate a buried object such as a soft layer, a hard layer and a steel material by implanting hard tips in a bit main body tip part on the tip of a rotary cutter ring by inclining the tip by a specific angle in the rotational direction.
SOLUTION: A plan view rectangular blade part 3 is arranged on an excavating bit 1, and the excavating bit 1 is installed in a tip part of a cutter ring via a holder 5. Plural tips 9 forming a columnar shaft shape and being composed of a hard material are implanted in the blade part 3 by projecting from a tip part 3a of the blade part 3. The tips 9 are slantingly implanted so as to turn in the rotational direction T of the cutter ring as these proceed to the tip side of the blade part 3. The respective tips 9 are mutually inclined in parallel to each other, and an inclination θ formed in the direction vertical to a bottom surface 6b of an installing part 6 of a bit main body 2 is set to 3° to 12°. Since the tips are slantingly implanted, even if the tips 9 are abraded, a sharp shape is maintained on the rotational direction side, so that excavation of a semi-hard rock layer from a soft layer and excavation of a buried object such as concrete and a steel material can be reliably continuously performed.
