This excavation method for excavating a hole in the hard ground such as the rock mass is characterized in preboring a hole in the central position of the hole and in a prescribed position in the hole by a hammer such as a small-diameter 'down-the-hole' hammer and then excavating it by a boring machine (a boring and pole erecting machine loading truck).
