Abstract:

To provide an excavation tool surface treatment method, and an excavation tool, in which the fatigue strength can be enhanced.

An excavation tool has a tool body that excavates the ground by receiving torque and impact force from a driving system, and a force transmission rod that connects the tool body to the driving system. With respect to the tool body or the force transmission rod subjected to heat treatment, surface treatment to cause compressive residual stress by particle projection is performed at least two times.
