Title:
EXCAVATION-ZONE SETTING DEVICE FOR ZONE-LIMIT EXCAVATION CONTROL OF CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3609164
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive not to cause change in the setting of an excavation zone due to movement of a car body even when the height of a car body alters to reduce the effect of errors such as a manufacturing tolerance of the car body, accuracy of a sensor, fitting tolerance, etc., and to enable excavation while lowering difference from a set excavation zone in an excavation-zone setting device for a construction equipment.
SOLUTION: An external reference 80 is fitted in the horizontal direction on the outside of a hydraulic shovel body, and depth up to the boundary of an excavation zone from the external reference is set by using an operating tool. When an external-reference setting switch 71 is depressed when a front device 1A is moved and the place of a front reference 70 coincides with the external reference, a control unit arithmetically operates height up to the external reference from the center of a car body. The depth of the boundary surface of the excavation zone to the center of the car body from depth is arithmetically operated while using the height as a correction value, and the excavation zone employing the car body 1B as a reference is set by the depth.
