Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel capable of preventing an engine hood from getting into a fully open state from a fully closed state without passing an intermediate held state.SOLUTION: The shovel includes: an upper swing body; a housing 2a installed on to the upper swing body; an engine hood 2b which is rotatably attached to the housing 2a; a hood stay 30 that supports the engine hood 2b; and a guide plate 35 that guides sliding of one end of the hood stay 30. The guide plate 35 has a sliding stop for stopping the slide of the one end of the hood stay 30 at an intermediate portion of the engine hood 2b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
