Abstract:
To provide an engine mount having an excessive load path which is compact in shape and light in weight.
A crevice pin 32 couples a thrust link 24 with support bodies 18, 26 in an engine thrust mount 10 of an aircraft. The pin includes a shank having a semi-circular section to transmit the thrust load as the shear load between the thrust link and the support bodies. A head part is arranged on one end of the shank, and a forward end part is arranged on the end opposite to the shank. In a preferable embodiment, a pair of pins are mated in a circular section to transmit the thrust load as the shear load.
