To provide an exchange device between a gaming chip and currency, including a function to recognize a money exchange executor.SOLUTION: An exchange device between a gaming chip and currency, in which the gaming chip has a color or display indicating a value on its outer surface, includes: a currency insertion port; a currency reading unit that acquires authenticity information and currency information on currency inserted from the currency insertion port; an inserted currency amount display unit that displays an amount of the currency acquired by the currency reading unit; a gaming chip storage unit that stores the gaming chip by kinds; a gaming chip ejection unit that ejects the gaming chip corresponding to the amount of the currency acquired by the currency reading unit from the gaming chip storage unit; a take-out unit in which the ejected gaming chip is placed; and a user recognition unit that recognizes a money exchange executor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
