PURPOSE: To provide such lead as that having different length, namely writing agent container with different capacity, can be inserted into writing tool, having the same fixing screw in common but different lengths formed on the writing tool, and further making its production simple.
CONSTITUTION: A portion 20 of spacer 18 projects into writing agent container 11 and is press-fit in it. A portion 19 of the spacer 18 which protrudes from the writing agent container 11 has screw thread 13 formed as external thread. The screw thread 13 can be screwed into corresponding screw thread 15 of the writing tool 14. Therefore, screw thread 15 of the writing tool 14 is internal thread. Although the screw thread 13 has been put directly on the spacer 18 in an application example of lead part shown in the figure, the screw thread 13 can also be provided directly on the writing agent container 11 formed with appropriate diameter at suitable separation from lead tip 12.
