To carry out a downward elastic wave test through an existing groundwater level observation hole, in an excitation apparatus for the downward elastic wave test which is provided in the foundation, improves efficiency, enables elastic waves to accurately appear and can be carried separately or fixedly installed on the job site as needed.
An excitation apparatus comprises: an excitation hammer; a stationary table which has the one side connected to the excitation hammer and rotates the excitation hammer around another side; a support stand which supports the excitation hammer and the stationary table at a specific height by coupling the other side of the stationary table to an upper end portion rotatably; and an excitation source which erects the support stand on an upper side surface and is attacked with the rotating excitation hammer to allow elastic waves to appear. In a lower end portion of the support stand, a fixed portion is formed which can be inserted to and removed from a support stand groove formed on the upper side surface of the excitation source, thereby separating the support stand, the stationary table and the excitation hammer from the excitation source.
