Title:
EXCITING SYSTEM IN ELECTRIC DRIVE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5917859
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To rotate a rotary disk without applying a distortion to a shaft by arranging a plurality of magnets on the peripheral edge of the disk and sequentially exciting a coil which is disposed symmetrically to the rotational shaft of a plurality of electromagnetic coils which are fixedly mounted corresponding to the magnets. CONSTITUTION:A disk 3 is rotatably mounted on a shaft 2 which is pivotally secured to a bearing 1. A plurality of magnets 4 are mounted on the peripheral edge of the disk 3. Electromagnetic coils 5 of the same or different number as or from the magnets 4 are arranged on the circumference corresponding to the vicinity of the magnets 4. One or two of the coils 5 which are disposed symmetrically to the shaft 2 of the coils 5 are sequentially energized by a control unit, not shown, as electromagnets, to attract or repel the magnets 4, thereby generating a drive force. The direction and magnitude of the current are controlled to control the direction and speed of the rotation. In this manner, a drive device which does not apply distortion force to the shaft with high reliability can be simply constructed.
