Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wearer (patient) of a receiving cap for receiving feces or urine from feeding compressed.
SOLUTION: The receiving cap attached to the wearer by a retainer 6 is separated into a stool receiving cup 10 and a urine receiving cap 25, with each of the cups 10 and 25 mountable in a respective appropriate position. The retainer 6 comprises a circumferential belt 7 to be wound around the wearer's torso, two of right and left upper cord parts 8a and 8b, and a center lower cord part 8c, and assumes only a small wearing area. Using vacuum suction, the stool receiving cup 10 is pressed against the wearer; when the discharge of a stool is detected, it is sucked by a large negative pressure, and after the discharge is complete, the vacuum suction is stopped. A stool discharge hose 47 or the like is connected to the cup 10 via a rotary joint 21 to prevent the twist of the hose 47 from acting on the cup 10.
