To provide an excrement measuring instrument which can obtain the measurement item required by a person engaged with a medical action and with which a patient can sample its excrement by only relieving itself in a toilet.
This excrement measuring instrument having a urine sampling mechanism which samples during urination by revolving itself in the bowl of a toilet stool is provided with a coloring section which colors test paper with sucked urine and a controller which outputs the colored test paper to a picture display device together with a standard discoloration chart. Therefore, the person engaged with a medical action can select the optimum measurement item for its medial action and, at the same time, the patient can sample its excrement by only relieving itself in a toilet. Therefore, the user is not required to make urine sampling work that is apt to become unsanitary.
