PURPOSE: To enable execution more efficiently as compared with the case of messor method to determine the nature of the soil of a bedrock minutely and to consider an accurate countermeasure in response to the nature of the soil to the bedrock.
CONSTITUTION: A semicylindrical movable timbering 3 is installed in a movable and driving-free manner. A plurality of box-shaped front messers 11 are mounted outside the movable timbering 3 in a projecting-retreating-driving-free manner. Drum cutters 16 are set up to the fronts of each front messer 11, and screw conveyors 14 are installed on the insides. Sheets 21, 24 for lining are housed in the rear sections of each front messer 11 under a wound state. A bed-rock 60 is excavated by the drum cutters 16, and the front messers 11 are projected from the movable timbering 3. Timbering 40 is mounted, and the sheets 21, 24 for lining are forwarded to the rears of the front messers 11. A lining material 41 is injected to the sheets 21, 24 for lining, thus constructing a lining 51. The bed-rock 60 on the insides of the front messers 11 is excavated. The movable timbering 3 is moved forward.
