To provide a momentum measuring device and a momentum measuring program, capable of determining that the device is attached to a user at a proper angle.

The momentum measuring device 100 related to this invention is detachably attached to an object of measurement, such as a human body, for measuring the momentum of the object of measurement. The momentum measuring device 100 comprises an acceleration sensor for detecting the acceleration in the directions of an axis x (left-right direction), an axis y (upward-downward) and an axis z (front-rear direction), and a determining part for determining that the momentum measuring device 100 is attached to the object of measurement at a proper angle if the value of the acceleration outputted by the acceleration sensor is within a prescribed range.
