Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make an exhaust accumulation heaped up on an exhaust pressure detecting pipe line purgeable to an exhaust passage, by feeding compressed air to an exhaust pressure detecting exhaust pipe via a check valve. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensor 10 detects exhaust pressure in an exhaust system of a Diesel engine provided with a Diesel particulate oxidizer (DPO) 5 through exhaust pressure detecting pipe lines 94 and 94'. Compressed air is fed to these exhaust pressure detecting pipe lines 94 and 94' from a compressed air feeding device 82 via a check valve 96. In a compressed air feeding pipe line 95, there is provided with a compressed air feed controlling device MP which controls feed of the compressed air. In this connection, a purge mechanism PM is controlled by a control part ECU.
