To provide an exhaust air circulation type grain dryer enabling high-speed drying while suppressing body cracking by securing necessary grain temperature even in a cold area.
The exhaust air circulation type grain dryer includes a burner, a hot air chamber, an exhaust fan, an exhaust air return passage, a moisture value detecting means, a charge amount detecting means, a control part for adjusting exhaust air return amount and burner combustion amount to perform drying control at predetermined drying speed. The exhaust air circulation type grain dryer further includes a grain temperature detecting means and an outside air temperature detecting means. Minimum temperature within a grain temperature range necessary for moisture transition within grains is registered in the control part as minimum grain temperature C by outside air temperature B. When grain temperature at start of drying is below the outside air temperature B, the burner combustion amount is increased to reach the minimum grain temperature C, and then, drying control is performed at the predetermined drying speed.
