Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery device that can sufficiently exhibit an exhaust gas heat recovery function and an EGR cooler function while enabling early activation of a catalyst.SOLUTION: An exhaust heat recovery device 1 includes: one or more catalyst sections 3 each disposed in an exhaust gas flow passage 21 in which exhaust gas G (exhaust) from an engine (internal combustion engine) 10 is caused to flow and including a catalyst for purifying the exhaust gas G; and a heat exchange section 4 disposed in the exhaust gas flow passage 21, having a heat exchanger for recovering heat from the exhaust gas G and configured to enable recirculation of the exhaust gas G that has passed through the heat exchanger to an intake system of the engine 10. The catalyst sections 3 are disposed only upstream of the heat exchange section 4 in the exhaust gas flow passage 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
