Title:
EXHAUST APPARATUS FOR COOKING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5837425
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent heated oil particles generated at cooking from adhering onto the inner surface of a duct and as well as protect cooking flame from entering the duct by a structure wherein a radiator plate is arranged at a suction port and as well as the discharge area of a blower is made larger than the cross-sectional area of a duct.

CONSTITUTION: Cooking exhaust is sucked in a suction port 4 arranged between the surmounting part 3 just behind a range 2 and a wall and exhausted. A duct 8 is made in such a form as to go downward and the cross-sectional area of the duct 8 is made smaller than the discharge area of the blower 9. When the exhaust blower is started, exhaust gas is past through the duct 8 in about 3W10sec, in other words, discharged in the time shorter than the time of 15sec, in which heated oil particles generated at cooking turn to be particles with adhesion and consequently no adhesion of oil particles onto the inner surface of the duct 8 occurs. In addition, due to the radiator plate provided at the suction port 4, flame produced at cooking is cooled with a metal grill 7 of the radiator plate at the suction port 4 and prevented from entering the duct 8. Furthermore, because the pressure within the duct 8 is negative, exhaust gas expands itself, resulting in causing its temperature to lower. In such a manner as mentioned above, the interior of the duct 8 is kept clean at all times, resulting in being safe from fire accident.
