Title:
EXHAUST BRAKE VALVE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000204973
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate a stopper bolt with which a lever makes contact during opening, to eliminate the need for a burring on a bracket for mounting a stopper bolt and screw hole machining applied on the spot, and to reduce a cost.

This valve device is provided with an exhaust brake valve 16 having a valve stem 20 to rotatably support the bearing part of a valve housing 17 and a butterfly valve element 21 fixed on the valve stem 20. Through the operation of an actuator 24 coupled to a valve housing 17 through a bracket 22, the valve device is brought into a closed state through a lever 23 mounted on the valve stem 20. The lever 23 is provided with an overhang part overhanging from a lever body, and the overhang part is provided with a bent part molded by bending a tip. During the opening of the exhaust brake valve 16, the engaging flat of the bent part is brought into contact with the inner surface of the side plate part 58 of the bracket 22 to effect opening positioning of the valve element 21.
