Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply water, jetted from a water jet toward an exhaust passage, more uniformly to each part of exhaust so as to cool the exhaust sufficiently.
SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine is mounted on a hull floating on water. A first exhaust pipe is extended from the internal combustion engine. An inner hole of the first exhaust pipe is made an exhaust passage 55 leading exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine. A water nozzle 80 opened toward the exhaust passage 55 is formed at the first exhaust pipe, and water is jetted to the exhaust passage 55 through the water nozzle 80. The water nozzle 80 is positioned near the inner surface 69a of the first exhaust pipe and made face this inner surface 69a.
