Abstract:
To prevent malfunction of sensors caused by condensed water in an exhaust system of an engine.
An exhaust device for an engine has an exhaust tube 10 composing an exhaust passage 1, a sub-muffler 30 for reducing exhaust noise of an engine, a bent portion 11 formed by projecting a portion on the way of the exhaust tube 10 downward, and an O2 sensor faced inside the bent portion 11. The sub-muffler 30 is arranged on an immediately downstream side of the bent portion 11. A water hole 23 is formed on the bent portion 11 for dropping condensed water. The water hole 23 is opened at a position lower than the O2 sensor.
