The device includes many independent channels extending vertically and catalyst 42 filled in the catalyst housing 43. The device includes a first passage 81 leading exhaust gas from the passage hole 31 to a lower part of the catalyst 42 through a half part 42a of the catalyst 42, a second passage 82 leading the exhaust gas led to a lower end of the first passage 81 to an upper part of the catalyst 42 through at least part of a half part 42b of the catalyst 42, and a third passage 83 leading the exhaust gas led to the upped end of the second passage 82 to a lower part.
