Abstract:
To further improve durability.
At least one of catalyst metal selected from Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Ag, and Cu is carried onto substituted zeolite, where at least a part of Al element is substituted with at least one of metal element selected from B, Ga, In, and Tl, by ion exchange. As the substituted zeolite has higher heat resistance in comparison with general zeolite comprising SiO2 and Al2O3, the durability of a catalyst using it is improved.
