Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing scattering of condensation water in an exhaust pipe in regard to the exhaust emission control device for the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 100 for an internal combustion engine includes: an exhaust pipe 1; an NOx catalyst 2 provided in the exhaust pipe 1; a first sensor 3 provided at a position downstream of the NOx catalyst 2; and a first water absorption member 4 provided at a position upstream of the first sensor 3. The exhaust pipe 1 includes: a first large diameter portion 10 having the NOx catalyst 2 provided therein; a first small diameter portion 11 disposed downstream of the first large diameter portion 10; and a second small diameter portion 12 disposed upstream of the first large diameter portion 10. The first water absorption member 4 is provided in at least one of positions at an end on the downstream side and an end on the upstream side of the NOx catalyst 2 on a lower surface in the first large diameter portion 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
