Abstract:
To provide an exhaust emission control device which can prevent deterioration of a fuel consumption, and to provide an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device includes: a filter which collects a particulate substance contained in exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and is regenerated by the collected particulate substance being burned; an outer air passage which leads outer air to an inlet system of the internal combustion engine; a high temperature air passage which leads air having a temperature higher than an outer air temperature to the inlet system; a first adjustment part which is disposed in the high temperature air passage and adjusts a flow rate of the high temperature air led to the inlet system; and a flow rate adjustment control part which controls the first adjustment part so as to open the high temperature air passage when the internal combustion engine is in a low load operation and the filter is regenerated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
