Abstract:
PURPOSE:To remove odor and poisonous gas such as NOX and CO, and the like simultaneously together with particulates in exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:A large number of mutually parallel exhaust gas passages partitioned by means of porous partition walls 11 are provided as a filter member 1, and by using a honeycomb-structural body provided alternately with an exhaust gas passage 12a having a closed opening on the exhaust gas inflow side and an exhaust gas passage 12b having a closed opening on the exhaust gas outflow side, activated carbon fiber to adsorb malodorous components and poisonous gas is sealed up in the exhaust gas passage 12b of the filter member 1.
