To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of avoiding an increase in manufacturing cost, an enlargement and a weight increase, by reducing a labor burden of a worker by easily performing inspection work of a selective reduction type catalyst.
This exhaust emission control device is provided for reducing and eliminating NOx by adding urea water as a reducing agent to the upstream side of the selective reduction type catalyst 6 by an injector 11, by arranging the selective reduction type catalyst 6 capable of selectively reacting the NOx with ammonia even under the coexistence of oxygen in the middle of an exhaust pipe 4, and has a freely attachable-detachable cover body 14 (a sealing tool) for airtightly blocking up an inspection port 13, by arranging the inspection port 13 in a proper position up to the selective reduction type catalyst 6 from a urea water adding position (an arranging position of the injector 11) so that an inlet side end surface of the selective reduction type catalyst 6 can be visually observed.
